In order to receive the 3 credits offered through a course, the student's (learner's) 135 hours of applied studying should be spent divided between classroom participation and preparation. Approximately, 40 hours should be spent on classroom contact, with the remaining 95 hours spent on outside preparation or a suitable equivalent. Application of credits towards a degree program is also contingent upon satisfactory completion of the coursework. Course credit hours are not severable, as all accumulative coursework must be completed for a student (learner) to receive any applicable semester credit hours for said course.
